We invite parents to our online meeting on how to help your child succeed in A level Russian, exploring both 1-year and 2-year preparation routes.
Who is this meeting for?
Parents of Year 11, Year 12 and Year 13 pupils, as well as anyone interested in taking the exam.
Please note that this session will be conducted in Russian.
What we will cover:
- Specification requirements, exam formats, and paper structures
- Key themes and options for the independent research project
- Advice on UCAS recognition and university admissions policies regarding language qualifications
- Guidance on registering as a private candidate
- Strategies to build confidence for the oral assessment and presentation of independent reach project (IRP)
- Insights and marker expectations from recent summer exam results
